To go to the preview of the second part of
Avatar: The Way of the water
on December 12 in Los Angeles, Sigourney Weaver opted for a luminous ensemble.
The 73-year-old actress stepped forward in front of the photographers wearing a long skirt entirely embroidered with gold sequins, associated with a white shirt and a Valentino clutch.
A red carpet look that stands out from classic cocktail dresses and has already proven itself in the past.
Especially during the Oscars in 1998, on a certain Sharon Stone.

Winning duet
A cult look from a mistake: on March 23, 1998, Sharon Stone would have stained the top she was supposed to wear at the Oscars with a satin skirt.
By falling back on a white shirt, the actress finally develops a legendary silhouette.
Taken over since by Monica Bellucci (at Cannes in 2006), Tilda Swinton (at the Golden Globes in 2011), or Meghan Markle, pregnant, (at the Endeavor Fund Awards in 2019), the association has become a safe bet.
To the point of having also seen it reappear on the Oscars red carpet in 2022, revised and corrected in a wink from actress Zendaya.
An aura that Sigourney cannot deny.
