(ANSA) - TOKYO, DECEMBER 14 - The Tokyo Stock Exchange starts the session slightly higher, following the consolidation of the US stock indexes after the publication of data on US inflation which was lower than expected and awaiting the decision on interest rates at the end of the meeting of the Federal Reserve.
At the start, the reference index Nikkei marks a positive change of 0.32% to 28,043.96, adding 89 points.
On the foreign exchange market, the yen appreciates against the dollar to 135.50 and to a level just above 144 against the euro.
