More and more digital, more and more interactive.
It is the entertainment of the future that makes its way through new ways of fruition, from virtual reality to the metaverse.
Projects embodied by Rait 88, a strategic and systemic hub, a point of reference in various technological sectors, which has inaugurated the new Robotics and Virtual Reality divisions in Rome.
"There is no doubt that the events of the future will be able to exploit innovations that we hear about today but which have not yet expressed their full potential", says Alessio Calabrò, CEO of Rait 88. "Let's think of the concert of the favorite artist, which in a few hours has sold out - he adds - All you need is a pair of viewers, even cheap and sustainable ones, such as cardboards in which to insert your smartphone to assist, in virtual reality, at the concert in digital presence. A day will come in which to choose whether to go to an event in VR or in the metaverse will be normal. The technologies are already there, it's just a matter of applying the business model."Rait 88 already has various initiatives in the pipeline with established artists to bring more passionate entertainment experiences through "accessible" virtual reality.
The reference is also to the inclusion that technology can offer when, for example, one is unable to move from home also due to infrastructures that are not suitable for welcoming people with disabilities.
"We are convinced that true innovation is the one that brings concrete progress for end users, improving their ways of accessing content, with what they already have in their hands, such as a simple smartphone", concludes Calabrò.
