The singer was also on trial for sexually assaulting two other victims, a 15-year-old student with whom he had sex in 2010 and 2011, and a 14-year-old girl to whom he sent inappropriate messages in 2015. In the three case, prosecutor Laure-Anne Boulanger noted the relationship of authority that existed between Professor Stéphane Métro and his young students.

The singer has already been convicted of sexual abuse of minors in 1996, for facts about children aged 10 and 11 in summer camp, when he was 18. He claimed to have been raped during his childhood by two members of his family on his island of birth, Reunion.
