Russian attacks on Ukraine's energy infrastructure are putting "nearly all of the country's seven million children at increasing risk"
as winter temperatures continue to plummet, UNICEF (United Nations Children's Fund) said.
Without stable access to electricity, heat or water, "children face extreme cold, health facilities may be unable to provide essential services, and faulty water systems are increasing the extremely high risk of pneumonia, seasonal flu, waterborne diseases and Covid".
