Farmland GmbH is recalling its Alpenland crème for cooking nationwide.
The reason for this measure are metallic foreign objects.
Munich – Due to a potential health hazard, Farmland GmbH calls the article
Alpenland crème for cooking 7 percent fat, 250 ml with the best before date 06.01.2023.
The company announced this in a press release.
The product was sold nationwide and delivered to the trading companies of Bela C+C, Bünting, famila, Globus, Markant, nah&frisch, IK Ihr Kaufmann, Netto Marken-Discount and Norma.
Alpenland crème recall: foreign bodies detected
The company states that the reason for the nationwide recall is that metallic foreign bodies have been detected in the cooking cream.
According to Farmland, it cannot be ruled out that there are other foreign bodies in the product.
The company warns that consumers are at risk of not noticing the foreign bodies before they eat them.

Urgent warning about Alpenland Crème from Farmland: Buyers should send product to manufacturer
Farmland warns customers not to use the product.
As a rather unusual measure, buyers are being asked to return the item to Farmland.
Purchase price and postage would be refunded.

emphasizes the health risk of products with foreign bodies.
"Metal foreign bodies, broken glass or glass splinters, wood and plastic splinters can lead to serious injuries in the mouth and throat as well as internal injuries or bleeding," writes the portal.
"Consumers who own one of the affected items should no longer use the affected products and return them to retailers."
