Warning of salmonella in chicken eggs from Baden-Württemberg.

In Baden-Württemberg, chicken eggs are being recalled because of suspected salmonella.
Customers can return Berghof Glatt goods to retailers.
Lottstetten – The Berghof Glatt informs about the recall of eggs with the best before date up to and including December 21, 2022.
The animal products were delivered exclusively in Baden-Württemberg and were sold in the retail stores Dorfladen Dettighofen, Dorfladen Altenburg, Raiffeisen Jestetten, Beckerei Gutay, Landmarkt Lottstetten, Obsthof Henes, Obstbau Buchter, Schlachthüsli Schaub and Holzwiesenhof Kübler.
They were also sold by Bio Hauser at the Jestetten weekly market.
Chicken eggs discovered with salmonella
As the company reports, salmonella was found during a routine self-check.
Customers can return the corresponding products in stores.
You will be refunded the purchase price.
Alternatively, they can also be returned to the farm in Lottstetten/Balm in exchange for other eggs.

Warning of chicken eggs - Robert Koch Institute warns of salmonella
According to the Robert Koch Institute, salmonella disease manifests itself within a few days after infection with diarrhea, abdominal pain and occasional vomiting and a slight fever.
Babies, small children, senior citizens and people with a weakened immune system in particular can develop more severe illnesses.
Anyone who has eaten this food and develops severe or persistent symptoms should therefore seek urgent medical attention and point out a possible Salmonella infection.
