"I am an unforgettable character": the new star who joins the "main box office" | Israel today

It's hard to impossible not to get infected by the bursting optimism of Hana Ben Shimol, one of the prominent characters from the cult program of Kaan 11, "Come Eat With Me".

Maybe it's the unusual joy that erupts from her at any given moment, and maybe it's her admirable honesty that put a big smile on our faces already in the first seconds of talking to her.

"There are characters that cannot be ignored. Like me, for example. I did the season in 'Come Eat With Me'," she announced at the beginning of her words in an interview with "Israel Hayom" in which she talks about her casting for a small guest role (but surely with a big impact) in the next season of "Kupa Rashat", another worship program of Kaan 11.

"I did the fifth season of 'Come eat with me', and then when it was in Bethlehem in the sixth season, they contacted me again, and they didn't contact me for nothing.

Well, it looks like you already answered the first question, but we'll try anyway: before we talk about "First Box", why do you think they specifically brought you back to the last season of "Bow"?

"I think I'm a very spontaneous person. I'm very fluid. You can wake me up at four in the morning and tell me, 'Listen, I need to cook now, get organized,' I'm always there. I'm always smiling, always with humor. I'm never sad, so It turns out that whenever they want me, I'm there for them. Love here 11, feel like family. They are the most professional team there is. There are no such things."

Why do you think that "Let's eat with me" and "Kopa rashtiya" are so successful and are considered cult programs?

What is the secret of the magic of both?

"Really? The characters. I think the two programs are very reminiscent of each other."

How did the collaboration with "Kofa Rasat" come about?

"What a piece! Just like that, on Facebook. I'm browsing here 11, and I see that the casts want to cast characters. Then I wrote in a joking section, 'Why won't they hire me?', I wrote 'What's going on? Have you forgotten me? I want too!'. So one of the casts She wrote to me, 'Hannah, yes!', and after an hour she picked up the phone."

And what was it like on the set of such a successful series?

"Between us, it's not like 'Come eat with me.' But despite everything, television is an experience. It doesn't matter what you do."

Although Ben Shimol returned from the filming of "Kupa Rashtih" a little disappointed, it seems that she got to know a new friend during them, who, according to her, gave her special treatment and a lot of love on the set

Are there any of the players that you were particularly excited to see?

"Wow, totally miracles! (The reference is, of course, to the actor Yaniv Suisa, who plays the character of Nissim Shimoni, the butcher in "Kupa Hashit"). I love Yaniv so much! He reminds me a lot. He told me, 'Listen, you did the season ! My mom loves you, let's take a selfie!'. He made my day. He's a born actor. And I love her star too! Love her!".

Which character from "Copa Rasat" would you like to stay with?

"I would only go to Nissim! Because Nisim is all heart! And you can fly on him and he will fly on me and there is chemistry. I felt I had a click with him."

If they offered you a regular regimen, would you agree?

"I have to get a permanent role! I'm also a born actress. I know how to do it."

What role do you think they would have cast you for?

"I must have been an older woman, funny and annoying."

Which character from the series do you relate to the most?

"I love her star! I think she is a character in herself. Karen Moore is a crazy actress and she is the most beautiful!".

Do you have an example of one negative and one positive?

"People on the street take pictures with me. At an airport, for example, the flight attendant suddenly forgot he was on duty and flew over me. It does it to me, I love it. I love myself so much and I love these things."

"Someone was at the airport and said like that to everyone, 'You know, you're nice, but I didn't really like you, because what did you actually do? You didn't eat at everyone's.' I told her, 'You're lying! I did eat, you won't paint me like that I did eat, I just don't eat meatballs at everyone's place, I have a scratch of cleanliness. You don't have to love me.''

Just before the end of the interview, Ben Shimol remembers something important.

"Wait a minute," she stops the mutual parting words we begin to exchange between us.

"Do you have connections in 'Big Brother'? Maybe you can talk to someone there who will cast me there? I'm the best fit. I don't understand why it hasn't happened until now."
