Comment accorder un ukulélé ?

Le ukulélé est un instrument parfait pour débuter, car il est relativement facile d’enchaîner quelques accords sur ce petit instrument doté de 4 cordes seulement. En revanche, quand on acquiert un ukulélé, il faut commencer par l’accorder. Sans cela, impossible d’obtenir quelque chose d’harmonieux. Il faut savoir que l’accordage d’un ukulélé n’a rien à voir, ou presque, avec l’accordage d’une guitare. Alors qu’un accordage standard de guitare est mi, la, ré, sol, si, mi, l’accordage standard du ukulélé est sol, do, mi, la. C’est ce qui fait toute la particularité du ukulélé et de sa sonorité. À savoir qu’à l’international, on utilisera des lettres pour désigner les notes. Aussi, sol, do, mi, la correspond à GCEA. La note A désigne le la, le B correspond au si, le C au do… Une fois que vous vous retrouvez avec un ukulélé entre les mains, il faut donc commencer par accorder corde après corde, sachant que la première (celle du haut) est donc un sol. Vous pourrez regarder un tuto, chercher un sol en audio puis tenter de l’atteindre, mais la tâche n’est pas si évidente. D’où l’intérêt d’utiliser un accordeur. Ce type d’appareil vous guidera naturellement pour obtenir la note juste. Par exemple, si l’accordeur indique F (ou fa) pour cette première corde, vous êtes un ton trop bas pour aller jusqu’au sol.
