Indochine, a legendary group from the 1980s, will close the 2023 edition of the Eurockéennes, the Belfort festival announced on Thursday, after a 2022 edition marked by a violent storm and cancellations.
Nicola Sirkis' group had never performed at the Belfortain music festival despite its long career, the organizers reminded Thursday in a press release, which promises

The musical event, canceled two years in a row due to Covid-19, had a record year in 2018, with 135,000 spectators.
The last edition was marred by a violent storm on the first evening which injured seven people and forced the organization to cancel two concert evenings.
As for the 2024 edition, the Ministry of Culture announced on Tuesday that it would go well as planned, despite the Paris Olympics.
