On Friday 16 December, eleven Regions will take to the streets at the same time as the strikes: Alto Adige, Basilicata, Campania, Emilia Romagna, Friuli, Liguria, Lombardy, Molise, Sardinia, Tuscany and Lazio.
Maurizio Landini will be in the streets tomorrow in Perugia, on the 14th in Bari, on the 16th in Rome.
The protest began on December 12.
Demonstrations and strikes promoted by the CGIL and UIL organized at the regional level "to change a wrong maneuver against work, to claim a maneuver that is more just for the people and more useful for the country".
The unions are asking to increase wages by detaxing the increases in national contracts, bringing the tax relief to 5% for wages up to 35,000 euros;
to give protection to all forms of work, assigning a general value to the National Collective Labor Agreements, thus sanctioning a minimum wage and universal regulatory rights;
to eliminate forms of precarious work for a single job placement contract with training content;
a tax reform that respects the principle of progressiveness;
the taxation of extra profits that generate resources for an extraordinary solidarity contribution;
the revaluation of pensions;
resources for education and health;
the cancellation of the Fornero law with the flexible exit from work starting from the age of 62, the recognition of the different burdens of the jobs, the guarantee pension for young people and for those with discontinuous and "poor" careers, the recognition of care work , the recognition of gender differences, the exit with 41 years of contributions.
