'The America we don't know' was at the center of the new #INSIDE appointment at the Gallerie d'Italia, the schedule of meetings with writers, directors, journalists and popularizers organized by Intesa Sanpaolo as an in-depth analysis of the themes of the exhibitions dedicated to Gregory Crewdson and Lisetta Carmi, currently in the museum in Piazza San Carlo, in Turin.
Among the talks related to the exhibition 'Eveningside' by Gregory Crewdson, curated by the deputy director of the online newspaper 'Il Post', Francesco Costa, the one with Marta Ciccolari Micaldi, journalist, author and literary guide specializing in North American literature, known online as LaMcMusa.
Since 2013 you have been narrating American culture with a particular look at its lesser known and nobler part, the province, the roads that connect the cities, the border, and you do so by organizing literary trips and using novels as a tool for investigation and knowledge.
A story, hers, which led the public to the Gallerie d'Italia to get to know a country dreamed of by many, often little known, but also to discover how literature can prepare us for the journey.
