(ANSA) - ROME, DECEMBER 15 - The Bank of England has raised rates by half a percentage point to 3.5%, in a decision taken with a six to three majority in the Monetary Policy Committee.
The decision comes despite the fact that the Bank of England itself sees the economy in the midst of a recession, with the Pilates contracting by 0.1% in the fourth quarter of 2022.
