Jenna Ortega (isn't she Wednesday from the Netflix hit series "Wednesday"), the most talked about star on the screen right now, is also coming to the big screen in another "Scream" movie.

This time the plot takes place in New York and besides Ortega, the film stars Courtney Cox, Melissa Barrera ("Neighborhood on the Heights") and Mason Gooding ("Hanging in the Air").
As usual in the procedure, the plot will revolve around the attempts to evade Ghost Face's sharpened knife.
The film is distributed by Forum Film and will hit theaters on March 9, 2023.
Contrary to early reports, last summer it was learned that Neb Campbell, the star of the film series, will not appear in the sixth film, even though she starred in the previous five episodes of the successful horror saga as the main character, Sidney Prescott.

The reason for the absence of the Canadian actress is a low offer that the producers of the project agreed to pay her, an amount that she believes would have been higher if she had been a male actor.
"As a woman, I had to work very hard to establish my status and value, especially in regards to 'Shout,'" the star told Deadline.
"Ultimately, I felt that the offer that was made to me did not match the value that I bring to the brand.
