Whether in yellow, red or pink: poinsettias are the Advent classic in the home.
If you fertilize the plant, you will enjoy it for a long time.
As probably the most popular plant in the Advent season, along with mistletoe and fir branches, poinsettias can be bought everywhere.
But who does not know it: As soon as the plant is at home for a few days, it lets its leaves droop or dies completely.
If the wrong location is not responsible, this may be because the plant needs minerals.

knows, fertilizing should not be neglected with
Euphorbia pulcherrima
.
The following points must be observed:
Have you just bought the poinsettia?
Then it is better to wait a few months before fertilizing.
Because there are still enough nutrients in the soil at the beginning of the planting.
If the plant is older than six months, it is fertilized regularly.
It only gets no nutrients from August to October.
Both liquid fertilizers and sticks with a high potassium content are suitable.
After flowering in early spring, start adding fertilizer.
Along with the right location, the right fertilization is the key to healthy and radiant leaves in the poinsettia.
