Christmas mail 2022: DHL deadlines for Europe and outside the EU have already passed

The deadline for letters and postcards sent by DHL to European countries – such as France and Italy – was December 14th.

Anyone outside of Europe who has not handed in their parcel to the courier by December 6 will probably not be able to get their surprise under the recipient's Christmas tree in time this year.

The deliverers have a lot to do before Christmas: After all, the parcels and letters have to end up under the Christmas tree in time.

However, the sender is not always to blame for the delay.

Last year, DHL apologized to customers for late deliveries, citing Corona as the reason:

Due to the persistently high parcel volumes and the impact of infection control measures, there are unfortunately delays in processing in some regions of our parcel network in Germany.
