Kiev, the capital without water, bombed

(ANSA) - KIEV, DECEMBER 16 - The Ukrainian capital was left without a water supply due to this morning's Russian bombing, the mayor of Kiev Vitaly Klitschko announced.

"Due to the damage to the energy infrastructure, there are water outages in all areas of the capital," he said.

And he added that the subway trains do not travel because the stations serve as a refuge for citizens.

    "Explosions on the left bank of the Dnipro River in Kiev, in the Desnyan district. All services are arriving at the scene," Klitschko had said shortly before.

According to residents, at least three explosions were heard, according to Ukrainian media.

   The military administration of Kiev said that the air defense systems are working, a missile was shot down in Bucha.

Kyiv Oblast governor Oleksiy Kuleba said Russia was "massively attacking Ukraine".
