You BR series "Servus, Baby" - that's like "Sex and the City" in Bavarian.

BR Fernsehen is now showing the third season of the cult series.

A pleasure!

Growing up is like skiing on an icy slope.

Can feel pretty uncomfortable at first, also really slippery and dangerous.

But once you've found your own trail, then the journey really begins - and everything suddenly becomes easy and intoxicatingly beautiful.

For eight episodes we were allowed to watch the four Munich friends Lou (Josephine Ehlert), Mel (Genija Rykova), Tati (Xenia Tiling) and Eve (Teresa Rizos) in the crisp series "Servus, Baby" as they slide into adult life.

The third season will be shown on BR Fernsehen on December 17, 2022 from 10 p.m.

Four new episodes (already available in the BR media library) about the joys and sorrows of work, men, children, no children, sex, no sex - and about how nice it is to be able to share all your worries with your best friends.

Christmas surprise: Mel (Genija Rykova) pays an important person a visit.

As usual, each 30-minute episode focuses on one of the four protagonists.

One is Lou, whose partner Domi (Frederic Linkemann) hasn't wanted anything to do with eroticism since the birth of their child.

Then there is Mel, who has problems with bonding and who now seems to be in a happy relationship with colleague Jakob, and who could also get off to a good start professionally - but is confronted with her mother just before a very important appointment for her career.

Fresh out of prison, she suddenly stands in front of Mel's door and asks for shelter.

Or Eve (Teresa Rizos), who is still trying in vain to get pregnant with her probably infertile Basti (Maximilian Schafroth).

How about co-parenting instead?

So with a shared parenthood,

sharing responsibility for a child with another couple?

She promptly suggests that Mel's friend Jakob become the biological father, with an idiosyncratic argument: "Jesus wasn't from Joseph at all, but from God" - Jakob: "Perhaps that's not the right comparison." And finally Tati, who actually wanted to spend Christmas in a mountain hut with her son and her boyfriend Hugo (Marcel Mohab) - but Hugo's ex-wife Dörthe didn't have that plan in mind.

Who once again interferes and creates facts: Hugo is supposed to celebrate the not-so-merry Christmas with her and the children one last time.

So alone in the hut?

Watch and wait.

Best with amaretto-infused hot chocolate with your own best friends on the couch.

And enjoy it, this motley, entertaining chaos in a wintry Munich setting.

When you realize once again: Even if an avalanche rolls down the ski slope of life from time to time, you somehow shovel your way out together.

A little bit smarter, but far from wise.
