In view of Christmas comes the package in storage scam, which takes advantage of the most numerous online purchases close to the holidays.
It arrives via email or message in which it is written that the delivery of an imaginary package is on its way and to schedule the time it is necessary to enter your data by clicking on a link which is obviously fraudulent.
The alarm comes from the Twitter profile of the State Police: "Beware of emails that warn you that you have not been able to deliver a package and that you click to choose the time to receive it. It is #phishing and therefore by clicking the personal informations".

The alert also comes from several security companies.
Bitdefender, for example, has researched fraudulent text messages affecting consumers around the world.
In Italy, according to experts, the main phishing campaign aims precisely at spreading some bogus sites relating to a shipping company.
Furthermore, in the last thirty days, those of Black Friday and those preceding the now increasingly online Christmas shopping, hackers have impersonated all kinds of realities - banks, public administrations, shipping companies and even the tax agency - to try to steal sensitive user data.
"Even if sms phishing doesn't seem like a big threat today, in reality, it should be emphasized that messages remain a fundamental communication channel for many companies and even for some institutions, which is why they still represent a tool widely used by cybercriminals to spread their fraudulent campaigns,” security experts point out.
