Two eyes rising from the sea.

It is Elodie's gaze that

is the protagonist of the new edition of

Calafuria

, the rosé wine that is the absolute protagonist of the

Tormaresca winery

.

For several years, the Apulian winery has linked the launch of the Calafuria vintage to a project that of artist labels that has touched different art forms over the years, from photography to illustration.

Music was missing and here it is appearing this year on the Calafuria Magnum label through the eyes of Elodie.

The studio of the artist's label dedicated to Elodie

"It is Elodie's gaze that is the protagonist of the new edition of Calafuria d'artista.

The project is completed with the presence of a QR code on the glass of the Magnum from which it is possible to listen to a playlist created by the Italian artist and inspired by our Elegant

, contemporary, multi-ethnic and with a special bond with Salento, Elodie is one of the most listened to and recognized Italian artists in our musical panorama, and she is the perfect partner to celebrate this Calafuria vintage" explains

Vito Palumbo manager of Tormaresca.

"This is an extraordinary vintage for Calafuria. Pink is pinker - continues Palumbo -

This year maintaining the exciting intensity of Calafuria meant having a more vivid,

pinker color and we didn't hesitate for a second. Our goal , always, is producing the best possible wine. And we say it that in Italy we were the first to think of a pale rosé like those of Provence, first unleashing criticism

and then imitations. We are proud of this vintage, of this wine, and the work done by all of us".

Tormaresca, an Apulian winery, strengthens its bond with the territory also in the launch of the collaboration with the Italian singer which was presented in Milan with a charity event in Milan, at Portrait - a new Ferragamo project - in favor of

Save the Olives

, an association that fights the spread of Xylella Fastidiosa is a " bacterium presumably arrived from South America, which leads to the drying and death of olive trees: it does so by blocking the xylem vessels of the plant, i.e. the "veins" that feed the tree with the necessary nutrients. With the vessels clogged, the tree slowly dries up and eventually dies" reads the website of the non-profit organization that launched the project Adopt a monumental olive tree' where adopting means saving through the grafting technique.

It takes three years to save an olive tree.

And this link between oil and wine, between olive trees and vines, was discovered by Tormaresca to best explain the link with the territory, Salento, scourged by xylella. Because it is in the heart of Salento,

The Calafuria 2022 label

"The farm covers an area of about 500 hectares of which 220 are planted with vines and 85 with olive groves. The heart of the estate is made up of the cellar - explains

Vito Farella, manager of Tormaresca

- Save The olives is an initiative that takes shape from an idea of Helen Mirren, the famous actress who has a farm in Salento. And we, like Tormaresca, try to lend a hand to stem this disastrous situation that is expanding more and more towards the north of Puglia"
