US pop singer Rihanna presented her son to the public for the first time.

On the social network TikTok, the musician uploaded a short video in which the seven-month-old child can be seen chuckling and laughing.

Covered with a blanket, the boy sits in a child seat and tries several times to reach for the mobile phone with which the video was recorded.

His mother Rihanna can be heard in the background.

With the clip, the 34-year-old musician ("Umbrella") celebrates her debut on TikTok.

The video has been viewed around 12 million times and commented on by more than 60,000 people.

However, it remains unclear how Rihanna and the little one's father, US rapper A$AP Rocky, named their first-born child.

»I will not be ashamed of that«

Earlier this year, the two celebrities publicized Rihanna's pregnancy through scheduled paparazzi photos on the streets of New York.

The staging and Rihanna's outfit - a pink, half-unbuttoned coat that reveals her bare baby bump - caused quite a stir.

In May, the pregnant singer then graced the cover of American »Vogue« wearing a red lace one-piece suit.

The pictures were taken by star photographer Annie Leibovitz.

Rihanna told the magazine at the time that she wanted to redefine what is considered "decent" when it comes to clothing for pregnant women.

"My body is doing amazing things right now and I have no shame in it," Rihanna said.

She wanted to celebrate her pregnancy and not hide anything.

Musically, Rihanna last appeared in October when she released her song "Lift Me Up".

The song is the lead song from the Marvel film Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.
