(ANSA) - WASHINGTON, DECEMBER 19 - Actress Amber Heard has announced that it has reached a settlement in the multimillion-dollar defamation lawsuit filed against her by her ex-husband, Johnny Depp.
In an Instagram post, Heard does not reveal the terms of her settlement, which she comes after a Virginia jury ordered her to pay the 'Pirates of the Caribbean' star $10 million.
"After much thought, I've made the difficult decision to strike a deal," the actress wrote in the post.
The agreement would put an end to the appeal proceedings she pursued after losing the first-instance case.
