(ANSA) - LONDON, DECEMBER 19 - The British government's plan for the deportation of asylum seekers and illegal migrants to Rwanda is legal: a British court has established it.
Rwanda welcomed the Court's decision.
"We welcome this decision and stand ready to offer asylum seekers and migrants the opportunity to build a new life in Rwanda," government spokeswoman Yolande Makolo said, calling it a "positive" step towards solving the global migration crisis.
