A Thai Navy ship with 106 crew members on board has been caught in a storm and sank in the Gulf of Thailand.
The rescue work continued on Monday, as reported by the Bangkok Post.
So far, 85 members of the crew of the HTMS Sukhothai have been rescued from the water, the newspaper reported, citing the Navy.
One person could only be recovered dead.
Three others were seriously injured.
21 people were still missing, it said.
They are searched for with ships and helicopters.
The incident reportedly happened on Sunday evening Thai time about 37 kilometers off the coast of Prachuap Khiri Khan province.
The US-made corvette was on patrol and hit by high waves.
As a result, water entered, there was a power failure and the main engine no longer worked.
The ship had been in use for about 36 years.
Among other things, it was equipped for air defense and anti-submarine warfare.
