"Prince Harry's ruthless betrayal of his family will make him and second-class actress Meghan unloved losers."
That was journalist Piers Morgan's final verdict on the Netflix documentary
Harry & Meghan
, the final three episodes of which were released on Thursday, December 15.
The Sussexes accuse the press of racism and of having wanted to "destroy" Meghan Markle.
The next day, Jeremy Clarkson, columnist for the
Sun
known for years for his provocative outings, did not mince his words either in the columns of the tabloid.

"I hate her"
The reporter thus attacked the Duchess of Sussex violently.
“I hate her (…), he wrote.
At night I can't sleep and I lie there, gnashing my teeth and dreaming of the day when she'll be paraded naked through the streets of every city in the UK, while the crowds shout "Shame!"
and throw excrement on him.”
An article that sparked a lively controversy.
The columnist with an already sulphurous reputation has indeed attracted a torrent of outraged reactions.
From the Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, to Scottish First Minister Nicola Sturgeon, many personalities strongly condemned Jeremy Clarkson's remarks.
Even Prime Minister Rishi Sunak reacted from Latvia where he was traveling, saying that "words matter" when you are a public figure.
The British press police (Ipso) has received more than 12,000 complaints.

A reference to
Game of Thrones
After several days of a controversy that has continued to swell, the
Sun
withdrew the column from its site on Monday, December 19, claiming to do so at the request of its author.
He also apologized on Twitter.
“I made a clumsy reference to (the series)
Game of Thrones
and it was taken badly by many people, he wrote.
I am horrified to have caused so much pain and will be more careful in the future.”
In one of
Game of Thrones
' most defining sequences , a female character undergoes "the walk of shame", during which she is forced to walk naked through the streets while people throw trash at her.
This is not the first time that Jeremy Clarkson has scandalized by his outrageous or provocative remarks.
In 2015, he was ousted from the BBC show 'Top Gear' after he physically and verbally assaulted a producer.
Before that, he had already aroused many controversies with sometimes racist exits.
