Swedish fashion giant H&M has withdrawn its current Justin Bieber collection after heavy criticism from the pop star.
The company removed the clothes from "our stores and online out of respect for the collaboration and for Justin Bieber," an H&M spokesman told AFP.
Bieber had previously described the collection sold under his name as "garbage".
The articles are "garbage" and he did not approve them, the singer explained on the Instagram online service.
"Don't buy them," he added.
He has not approved any part of the H&M collection, he assured.
The textile company withdrew the collection, but contradicted Bieber's version: "As with all licensed products and partnerships, H&M has followed the correct approval procedures," said the spokesman.
The collection included sweaters, t-shirts, phone accessories and a tote bag.
H&M has been working with Bieber for several years.
