Ikea is recalling the Odger swivel chair in anthracite.
Affected are products with the date stamp 2221 or older.
According to the manufacturer, there is a high risk of falling and injury.
Munich - Because there is a significant risk of falling and injury from the Odger swivel chair in anthracite, the manufacturer Ikea is recalling the product.
The Swedish company asks its customers who own the swivel chair with a date stamp 2221 or older to stop using it.
22 stands for the year and 21 for the week of production.
According to the Swedes, there is a risk that the foot of the product will break.
This could cause consumers to fall and injure themselves.

Ikea recall for swivel chair: Customers should bring the product back to one of the furniture stores - no receipt required
The Swedish furniture giant develops its products using a rigorous risk assessment and testing program, Ikea says on its website.
The products comply with all applicable laws and standards of the countries in which they are sold.
Despite all the care taken with the Odger swivel chair, there is still a risk that the star-shaped base could break.
Ikea asks all customers who have purchased the swivel chair to return the product to one of the Ikea stores.
According to the Swedes, the purchase price will be fully refunded.
Proof of purchase is not required.
The name and stamp of the product are located under the seat of the chair, they are embossed into the material.
The furniture giant apologizes to its customers for the inconvenience caused.
But that's not the only recall from Ikea just before Christmas.
