An Iranian teenager has died in Tehran after being arrested for removing her headscarf in class in protest.
This was reported by the director of the New York-based NGO Center for Human Rights in Iran.
The 14-year-old was identified through examination of surveillance camera recordings at the school.
After being taken into custody, the girl was transferred to hospital where severe vaginal lacerations were found and she died there.
