Many Ikea fans love them, now a dessert is recalled.
Small pieces of metal were found in the product, there is a risk of internal injuries.
Munich – According to Almondy, Almondy is recalling a limited quantity of the Almondy Daim almond cake chocolate brittle in the 400 gram pack.

Recall: Ikea warns of Swedish almond cake - pieces of metal can cause internal injuries
According to
product warning
consumer advocates , metallic foreign objects, broken glass or glass splinters, wood and plastic splinters can cause serious injuries in the mouth and throat, but also serious internal injuries or bleeding.
Those with a sweet tooth should therefore never try the popular Swedish gluten-free cake.
The item belongs back to the manufacturer.
Customers who bought the goods from Ikea should return them to the store immediately.
According to the manufacturer, the price will be reimbursed to customers.
Other grocers such as Aldi Süd, Edeka, Kaufland or Rewe also stock the product.
So far, nothing is known of a recall from their shelves.
