In Europe everything is snowy, but in Israel?

December is one of the warmest we've ever known, certainly in Eilat.

So in order to promote the flights from Europe to Ramon Airport in the southern city of Kit, and to show Europeans that they have a refuge from the source of the goat - network influencers from Europe (Lithuania, Poland, Belgium and France) came to us, courtesy of the Eilat Tourism Corporation in cooperation with the Ministry of Tourism and the Eilat Hotel Association, to show how wonderful Eilat is warm and how worthwhile it is for their followers, and it is about tens of thousands each, to come here at Christmas and during the European winter.

During the visit, the influencers will spend time on the city's beaches, in restaurants and bars, in the bird park and on a ranger trip in the desert, go sailing in the sea and do yoga on the beach, and of course visit the dolphin reef and the underwater observatory.

They will also visit Timna Park and the Southern Arava and review the two international sports events - the International Desert Marathon and the International Gran Fondo Tour Eilat.

One of the bloggers is Justine Francotte, 30 years old from Charleroi in Belgium, a city from which there are direct Ryanair flights to Eilat once a week.

Justin has a large community of followers on Instagram (about 90 thousand), and she makes a living as a sports and philosophy teacher.

On her Instagram account she uploads photos of herself traveling around the world, and now she is in Israel for the first time.

We caught up with her for a short interview about her experiences in Eilat, before she takes off to her next destination.

"We fell in love with this country": the tourists who decided to buy only Israeli goods

"A friend asked me to photograph Israelis for her on the street - you are so beautiful!"

"Already on the first day in Israel, something happened to me that left me speechless"

Hi Justin.

How is your experience in Eilat so far?

"I've only been here for two days and what amazed me in Eilat was doing the diving, because I've dived in the past in Punta Cana and the Bahamas and seen sharks and dolphins, and here, in Eilat, I feel like I'm diving in a huge aquarium, with a variety of colors of corals and species of fish, and everything is natural. In addition What is special here is the people who are very relaxed and adapted to the atmosphere that prevails in Eilat. A very relaxed and pleasant atmosphere."

What did you think of Israel before you came here?

"I didn't know anything about Israel, but when I posted on social media that I was going to Israel - I received all kinds of responses, most of which were warning responses, that it is dangerous and there are soldiers on the streets and that you should dress modestly, and since Syria has all the wars - people thought and warned me of the danger and proximity to war."

"In my previous incarnation I was a mermaid"

What is the most special place you have been in Eilat?

"I think in my previous incarnation I was a mermaid (laughs), so the most special place for me is the underwater world of Eilat, the Red Sea. I have a really special connection with the sea. Besides, I really liked the drama of the desert colors in Eilat. I really like Challenges and sports, so hiking in the Eilat desert is the perfect pastime for me."

What would you recommend to your followers about Israel?

"I am going to recommend it to all my friends and family, who I have already told them about Eilat, with great enthusiasm. My family usually goes to 'all inclusive' hotels, but for a vacation in Eilat I will definitely recommend them to take a hotel with breakfast only, to experience all the attractions the city has to offer and to eat at the places The great ones with the local cuisine. It's a four and a half hour flight, and then you arrive at an exotic and magical place without time differences and jet lag."

Not fond of the Israeli breakfast

What do you think about Israeli food?

What did you like the most?

"Here in Belgium, everyone orders a dish for themselves, and here in every restaurant I've gone to - everyone shares everything, and everything is plentiful and you get to be exposed to a lot of special flavors. Everything is served in a beautiful and incredibly tasty way. At breakfast in Belgium, for example, you don't eat vegetables for breakfast, but mainly proteins and pastries, So I liked the breakfast here less because I'm not used to it. The Israeli food I liked the most from my visit so far is without a doubt falafel, hummus and white bread. And since I really like pasta, I really liked the dish of pasta with fish at the "Fish Market" restaurant in Eilat ".

Where else will you travel in Israel?

Only in Eilat?

"This time I will only be in Eilat. Next time I would like to return to Eilat and also visit Tel Aviv and Jerusalem."

Justin traveled to many places in the world before coming to Israel, here are a variety of her photos in beautiful places in the world, as shown on her Instagram account.
