This is the message that Théo Becker, alias Mastu, youtubeur with five million subscribers, conveyed in his summary video of the year 2022. Tired of the intrusion of his fans into his private life, the young Angevin from 25-year-old announced he would be taking a break.
“I live near a college, people recognized me, gave me the hola, then followed me.
And since then they have been ringing my doorbell,” explains Mastu.
Supporting videos, the youtubeur explains that he is "forced to live with the shutters closed with his companion".
He films himself at home, trying to watch a movie in the dark, while the doorbell rings repeatedly.
"When they're not filming or ringing the bell, they come into my yard stepping over the gate to leave words on my door," he wrote in his video.
"Most are young, but we also had parents who came to ring for their children," says the videographer.

On TikTok, Mastu was heavily criticized for his angry reactions to his followers.
In this video, he justifies his annoyance, recontextualizes and shows the harassment he has suffered for several months.
"It hurts me, people give their opinion on everything and anything," laments Mastu.
In addition to fans inviting themselves into his garden or screaming his name from the street, the youtubeur receives death threats: in the middle of the night, a person parked in front of his house, shouting "Mastu, you're a dead man .
The young man's phone number also leaked after... a Covid test.
The nurse who had collected his contact details did not respect medical secrecy and disclosed the information.
In addition to the physical harassment, Mastu receives countless nuisance calls and text messages.
He therefore decided to put his activities as a youtuber on hold, for an indefinite period.
"I'm starting my break now, the next time we'll see each other again will be in 2023. I'm not giving a date.
