Estela de Carlotto, president of the 'Abuelas (Grandmothers) de Plaza de Mayo' announced in Buenos Aires the discovery of the 131st grandson, son of disappeared parents entrusted after the birth of the mother to a couple complicit in the Argentine dictatorship (1976-1983 ).

In a press conference in the building of the former School of Mechanics of the Navy, transformed into a meeting place for associations fighting for human rights, Carlotto did not reveal for the moment the identity of the person returned to the biological family, - the interested in asking for time "to get used to the reality discovered yesterday" - and limited herself to reporting that "it is a man who is 44 years old today".

The president of the Abuelas specified that he is the son of Lucía Nadín and Aldo Quevedo, originally from the province of Mendoza.

Lucía was born in that city on December 13, 1947 and Aldo on November 26, 1941 in the town of San Carlos.

They moved to Buenos Aires and were kidnapped on ;;9 October 1977.

The family called Aldo by the nickname 'Negro', or 'Negrito'.

Both were active in the Prt-Erp underground movement.

Schoolmates called Lucia 'Chiquita' and Aldo 'Dipy'.

At the time of the kidnapping, the woman was two or three months pregnant, a detail of which the family was unaware.

Both were locked up in the 'Club Atlético' and 'El Banco' detention and torture centres.

From the testimonies of the survivors it was learned that Lucía was taken away from 'El Banco' between March and April 1978 to give birth, perhaps to her ex-Esma.

Finally, Carlotto recalled that "the almost 300 men and women who were taken from their parents during the dictatorship live among us with false identities. We are also determined in the next 2023 to fight for more restitutions".
