The Academy for the construction professions is moving up a notch: a new professional training program that is carried out on the sites of the major construction companies, and in collaboration with them. So far: hundreds of employees have been trained and placed

We see results on the ground:

after training hundreds of workers at the Academy of Construction Trades, and placing them in various companies in the construction industry, the 'Academy of Construction Trades' raises a gear in employee training - with a new model of training workshops at the sites of the construction companies and in their collaboration, as part of the great need for skilled and professional manpower in companies.

Today (Thursday) the first training cycle in the new model was completed in the company.

The students who completed the cycle say that the training at the work sites allows for an exciting and professional experience while understanding the dimensions of the execution.

The pioneer of the current model is the contractor A.

Shiran, headed by Bentzi Nahimi.

The background to the aforementioned move is a huge shortage of personnel in the professions of the construction industry, starting with foremen and ending with specializations in the wet professions.

Within the study tracks, there are also rounds of interviews and a course of placement with employers, something that accompanies the program in all its stages.

As I recall, the Academy for the Construction Professions was launched about six months ago, at the initiative of Raul Sargo, President of the Haaretz Builders Contractors Association, Eran Siev, Chairman of the Renovation Contractors Association, and Itzik Moyal, Chairman of the Building and Related Industries Workers' Union.

The entire move was made with the partnership and leadership of Moshe Ben Zaken, CEO of the Foundation for the Encouragement and Development of the Construction Industry.

The academy has already prepared detailed plans for joint ventures with the state, through the Ministry of Construction and Housing and the Ministry of Economy, which will result in the permanent training of thousands of workers on an annual basis, and now its leaders are waiting for the establishment of the new government.

Eran Siev, chairman of the Renovation Contractors Association:

"It's exciting to see the collaboration between employers and academia, and to help build the country.

We will soon grow to train thousands of workers with the cooperation of the state and we call on the new government to take up the gauntlet with us."
