Zelensky to the US Congress: Ukraine is alive and fighting

(ANSA) - ROME, DECEMBER 22 - Standing ovations and applause welcomed Volodymyr Zelensky to the American Congress.

"Thank you, it's a privilege to be here, I think it's too much for me," he said.

"Defying all odds - underlined the Ukrainian president - Ukraine has not fallen. Ukraine is alive and fighting".

"Russian tyranny has lost control over us-he continued-the battle continues and we must defeat the Kremlin on the battlefield."
