After her purchase, a Lidl customer is downright shocked at the amount she was supposed to pay at the discounter.

She almost cried.

Ludwigshafen – The rising prices in supermarkets are causing problems for many people.

Some simply accept them without complaint and shop as usual.

Others are quietly limiting themselves and are more likely to use their own brands or remove one or the other product from the shopping list.

On the other hand, those who have to turn over every cent twice have an even harder time dealing with inflation – and thus sometimes dare to go public: A poor woman recently complained about the price of three simple products at Rewe.

The tweet from a woman who claims to be a single mother of two children from the Palatinate goes in a similar direction.

She has already tweeted several times under the hashtag #ichbinarmutsaffected and has now also spoken out after visiting the supermarket.

According to the Lidl customer, she pays 82 euros for a “small purchase”

The user posted a photo of her almost complete purchase.

For this she was, as the own brands show, at the discounter Lidl.

Only three six-packs of drinks are missing from the picture.

Of course, nothing about their claims is confirmed, but there is no reason to invent anything either.

Your invoice amount at the supermarket checkout is therefore: 82 euros!

"I almost cried when I got out," she says.

"I thought the cashier made a mistake.

And I don't even have meat or vegetables.

It was just a 'small' purchase.

Soon just pasta with sauce.”

Lidl customer gets a lot of sympathy

The Lidl customer gets a lot of sympathy in the comments.

"It's really crazy" and "It's really, really hard," it says, for example.

Another user writes: "I often have this issue with my friends, it's so frustrating.

If you have a Lidl nearby, they have rescue bags with vegetables.

Is lucky to get one but maybe an idea?

Or Togoodtogo, the app where you can save groceries cheaply.” The mother reacts: “Goodtogo only has one shop here, and it’s usually sold out right away.

I was at Lidl today and to be honest, I think they are the most expensive at the moment.

It makes almost no difference whether I go to Lidl or Edeka.”

Lidl customer even bought some drinks on offer

Another jokes: "That's what happens when you buy 3 * 6 bottles of champagne at the same time." Then he gets serious: "No, it's brutal at the moment, I'm only buying for myself, it's okay, but you'll notice you still get it.” The Lidl customer also explains what the drinks were: “Apparently pure gold.

So two sixers were even on offer.

75ct/bottle, and the other was peach iced tea.” There is also a deposit of 4.50 euros for 18 bottles, but that will not change the overall impression of the Lidl customer.
