(ANSA) - ROME, DECEMBER 23 - Russia intends to divert its gas supplies from Europe to other areas of the world, although the European market remains "significant": said Russian Energy Minister and Deputy Prime Minister, Aleksandr Novak, quoted by 'tax agency.
Novak, who also quantified the reduction in oil production announced yesterday by Vladimir Putin in response to the European 'price cap' of 5-700 thousand barrels per day, then said that hydrocarbon production will be diverted to the markets of Asia-Pacific, Africa and of Latin America.
