Behind the beautiful classical style stone façade of the rue des Saints-Pères in Paris (6th) listed as a Historic Monument, the faithful Ukrainian Catholics have been coming to pray since 1943 in this former chapel, founded in 1613 on the site of a church in 12th century by the regent Marie de Médicis.
A place of worship which in the 20th century became the Eastern Greek Catholic Saint-Volodymyr-the-Great Cathedral (also called Saint-Wladimir), after many episodes and twists.
