(ANSA) - KABUL, DECEMBER 25 - Three foreign NGOs announced today that they are suspending their activities in Afghanistan following the Taliban's ban on non-governmental organizations that work with women.
"Pending this announcement, we suspend our programs, demanding that men and women alike continue to save lives in Afghanistan," said organizations Save the Children, the Norwegian Refugee Council and Care International.
