Princess Catherine is running between a bunch of events in preparation for Christmas which is celebrated today (Sunday) around the world, and it gives us an opportunity to enjoy the bunch of looks she wears.

So after she showed up in matching color family outfits, it was time for a solo event.

Kate arrived at the Christmas events wearing one of her favorite holiday colors of late - forest green.

She wore a forest green coat by super designer Alexander McQueen, which she has worn before, and brown boots by her favorite brand - Gianvito Rossi.

In honor of the holiday, the princess added two items that do not characterize her in style - long gold earrings that resemble a dream catcher in shape, and a new green hat with a gray ribbon and a feather.

We liked the hat less, which we felt was more suitable for a walk in the forest, and not for a visit to church.

Princes William and George wore navy blue suits, with white shirts and blue ties.

Prince Louis, who joined for the first time, wore a dark blue coat with a double lapel, with knee-length trousers and high socks, a style common to younger members of the royal family.

Princess Charlotte wore the coat she wore to the solemn ceremony at Westminster Abbey last week.

It is a burgundy coat with a double lapel, to which were added black tights and matching doll shoes.

We loved the family harmony look, although Princess Charlotte's coat didn't match the colors exactly, but she's too sweet for that detail to bother us too much.

Princess Kate attended a tree planting ceremony last week in honor of Queen Elizabeth, who passed away earlier this year.

Befitting an event that takes place outside, in the freezing cold of Britain, the princess chose a particularly warming block.

She chose clothes in shades of blue and green, which protected her from the cold, and wore a knitted shirt with a merino wool turtleneck and a teal midi skirt, which she has worn before, from the luxury brand Iris & Ink.

The princess added to the look a coat with a double front in dark blue and green squares, with golden buttons on the lapel of the coat and at the end of the sleeves of the Holland Cooper brand, which she also wore in the past.

She completed the look with boots from her favorite brand, as we already wrote - Gianvito Rossi, dark blue.

Although this is a relatively simple look, suitable for the occasion, and the fact that Kate herself got her hands dirty and participated in the tree planting, but we loved the combinations, and the fact that Middleton proved that she is human just like us, and also suffers from a cold.

A simple look - but winning.

On another occasion, in a video released ahead of a Christmas concert, the princess wore a short shimmering black jacket with maroon trim.

We were less connected to the combination of colors in the jacket, and although it is a look that looks festive, something in the jacket does not sit precisely on the princess, and the resulting look is a bit forced.

People magazine reports that the Princess of Wales received an early Christmas present from King Charles - a title that previously belonged to her husband, Prince William, and she will now be the new honorary colonel of the Royal Irish Guards.

The new role seems to suit her, given the fact that she has paid tribute to the guards on St. Patrick's Day every year since she married Prince William.

We are waiting for the day when she will rule the kingdom with a high hand and precise style.
