How do you do miracles in the kitchen?
In honor of the Hanukkah holiday, we created a special project for you that will be spread over the eight days of the holiday, inspired by the miracle of the fat mouth.
During the coming week you are going to discover that sometimes you don't need a lot of ingredients to shell out in the kitchen.
Who hasn't come across a situation of guests who suddenly arrived and there is nothing at home or a child with a craving for pizza here and now.
All we need at that moment is a small miracle and if there are miracles, then the kitchen is where they happen.
We found most of the miracle recipes in the project online, tried, improved and reached perfect results.
The magic pancakes - one ingredient pancakes
We found this miracle, which was literally born for Hanukkah, on the blog of the technician Iz Talem.
Without flour, eggs or cheese, makes a groove for fritters from only one ingredient - potatoes.
The starch secreted by the potatoes is the ingredient that binds them together into meatballs.
That's why it's important to squeeze the grated potatoes first, save the liquids containing starch and add as needed to reach the desired texture.
Did you get into trouble?
It's really simple.
The recipe is in front of you.

Preparation
How do you make potato fritters from one ingredient?
1 Wash the potatoes well and scrub the skin.
2 Grate the potatoes with their skin on a coarse grater into a bowl.
3 Squeeze the potatoes well to get rid of as much liquid as possible and keep the squeezed water aside.
Can be squeezed with a potato masher.
4 Season the potatoes with salt, mix, let them rest for about 5 minutes and in the meantime heat the oil for frying in a pan.
5 Put a little of the potato mixture (it should feel a little sticky), take a heaping spoonful of the mixture and with the help of your hands tighten it into a pancake shape - if you can hold it with both fingers without it falling apart, it is ready for frying.
If not, mix the liquids we squeezed out and add 2-3 tablespoons of them to the grated potatoes, and mix.

6 Fry the fritters in hot oil in rounds.
3-4 fritters at a time, 2-3 minutes on each side until nicely golden.
Remove to absorbent paper and continue to make and fry fritters from the rest of the potatoes.
