Severe weather continues to plague the United States, where temperatures remain below freezing in most of the country.

The updated toll of bad weather in the United States has risen to at least 28 dead.

The Nbc website reports it, specifying that the deaths occurred in Oklahoma, Kentucky, Missouri, Tennessee, Wisconsin, Kansas, Nebraska, Ohio, New York, Colorado and Michigan.

Over three thousand faces erased


    The electricity companies of many states have appealed to save energy: in the cold weather, demand has in fact exploded and the risk is of not being able to satisfy it.

In Tennessee, short rolling blackouts have been decided to reduce consumption.

In New York, Gov. Kathy Hochul has deployed the National Guard to upstate near Buffalo, the epicenter of the winter storm, to help rescue hundreds of people stranded in their cars.

Defying the driving ban, many got behind the wheel only to get stuck in bad weather.
