From traditional family portraits, immortalized at the foot of the Christmas tree, to the essential matching pajamas, personalities from all walks of life celebrated Christmas like ordinary mortals.

Some have opted for a cocooning Christmas.

Like Paris Hilton and her husband Carter Reum, who wore matching pajamas, adorned with the message "Ho ho ho", at the foot of the tree, on Sunday, December 25.

Naomi Campbell and her family also wore Scottish-patterned outfits under the imposing chandelier of their home.

Pregnant with twins, Hilary Swank had for her part put on her most beautiful red and white striped jumpsuit.

Others celebrated Christmas more formally.

Prince Louis, 4, in shorts and a navy blue coat, found himself at the center of attention during the traditional Sandringham mass, in the presence of the royal family.

For their part, the Obamas put on their 31 for the end-of-year festivities, as evidenced by the portrait of the clan, all smiles and dressed in suits and evening dresses.

Just like Kim Kardashian, who shone brightly in a silver sequined dress.

Millie Bobby Brown, meanwhile, offered a more exotic Christmas.

She posed in a red swimsuit, a flower in her hair, against a backdrop of green landscape.

No one, however, seemed more enchanted than Anthony Hopkins, who swayed his hips to a song by Leonard Cohen, wearing a Santa hat.
