The sweet Ofer Schechter
revealed today (Monday) that he and his wife
Ksenia
are embracing a firstborn.
Schechter posted some photos with the new addition to the family and noted that he is a father, but chose to talk about the side that is sometimes forgotten in these types of posts: the mother.
And no, a caption along the lines of "The panther's wife" doesn't catch on.
"I will dedicate this post to women. My wife Ksenia went through a very challenging birth, three days of contractions, each contraction comes with a sharp pain that pierces her body and she breathes and aches and passes more from the teacher. And from the side I hold her hand and break inside. I would have already given in and solved it with a C-section, but she is strong and continues on even though she hasn't closed an eye for forty-eight hours, because she's not there for herself, she's there for her baby.
And by her side there are other strong women who embrace and contain - the midwives of the Meir Hospital in Kfar Saba, headed by my one and only sister, Dr. Gil Schechter Maor, director of the delivery room. They did not give up on her for a moment, at every step they offered the right solution for her and the baby, how to prevent the baby from getting into distress, And how to maintain his and Xenia's health so she can give birth the way she wanted."

"Another midwife is with her, giving her exactly what she needs at that moment. And this is how they alternate throughout the day and night, a midwife finishes her shift and another midwife arrives who brings with her new comfort in moments of crisis.
In these moments you see the feminine power, which is found in their cooperation, connection and empathy , the strength they give to each other is irreplaceable.
This day made me look at women in a different way, you bring life into the world, you have the real strength, you have the strength to cross mountains, you are the driving force. Thank you to all the women at Meir Hospital in Kfar Saba, thank you To my older sister who always watches over me like a mother and thanks to my wife who let me see her in her most vulnerable moments and showed me how much more room there is for love and connection between us."
Finally, Schechter added that they got a room with a window.
Walla!
Celebs aren't expecting a child, it's just that it will take her some time to get rid of all the frills she's had.
