(ANSA-AFP) - ROME, DECEMBER 26 - South Korea fired "warning shots" at some North Korean drones that had trespassed, causing fighters to take off.
"Several North Korean unmanned aerial vehicles have invaded our airspace" in areas near the border of Gyeonggi province, said the Joint Chiefs of Staff in Seoul.
A South Korean Ka-1 propeller-driven light attack aircraft that took off and then crashed to the ground, South Korean news agency Yonhap said, adding that the pilot was saved.
