(ANSA) - TOKYO, DECEMBER 26 - The Tokyo Stock Exchange starts the first session of the week with a plus sign, in the wake of the rise in US stock indices and with investors monitoring the health emergency in China and the deployment of the authorities' anti-Covid measures locals.
At the opening, the reference index Nikkei marks a progress of 0.24% to 26,297.86, with a gain of 62 points.
On the foreign exchange market, the yen weakened slightly against the dollar to a value of 132.60 and slightly below to a level of 141 against the euro.
