Something to laugh about and a little something for the heart.
That's what you expect from the comedy series you've loved for a long time.
Which veteran formats have made it back onto the serial junkies leaderboard this year?
Good comedy is worth its weight in gold.
Series junkies will find entertainment, comedy and, when things get really tough, even consolation.
Because the really good comedies don't hide life, but find humor even in dark times.
This year, the serial junkies editors have once again chosen their favorite comedy series that have been running for longer than this year.
Among them are old acquaintances, beloved favorites and also some surprises that have recently made it into the list (here are the best new comedy series of 2022).
10th place: Atlanta
The series "Atlanta" is about two cousins who make their way in the Atlanta rap scene.
The mastermind behind the series, Donald Glover, takes on the role of Earnest "Earn" Marks, a loner who returns to his hometown of Atlanta and is struggling to stay afloat.
He only succeeds when he is introduced to the local rap scene by cousin Alfred Miles (Brian Tyree Henry) and they soon take off and become famous.
The comedy is already in its fourth season and is a real favorite with series junkies.
The fourth season will premiere in Germany on Disney+ in January.
If you want to know what ends up in ninth to one place, you can find the answer at serial junkies.de.
