That's never enough for 4 people, is it?

How much raclette cheese do you actually need?

As a rule,

200 to 250 g raclette cheese per person

is calculated for a classic raclette meal.

So it's better to buy a little more - everyone should be fed.

And what is the result?

Like every year, in addition to potatoes, bacon, onions and pickles, there are of course also kilos of cheese 🧀 left over.

Actually, you should know better by now... 😅

Don't worry, we'll help you to use the remaining raclette ingredients sensibly and have created a useful and delicious

leftover

meal for you with our quick gratinated oven potatoes with raclette cheese.

That's how it's done:

You only need a few ingredients (maybe you already have them at home?):

  • Baked potatoes:

  • 500 g waxy potatoes

  • 2 tsp salt

  • 200 g crème fraîche

  • 200 g diced ham

  • 0.5 tsp salt

  • 0.5 tsp pepper

  • 3 tbsp cooking oil

  • 300 g raclette cheese

  • toppings:

  • Vegetables, pickled, to taste

The preparation is quick and easy:

  • For the baked

potatoes: wash the potatoes and boil them in their skins in salted water until al dente.

    Let cool down.

Tip: Alternatively, you can also use the remaining boiled potatoes from the raclette evening.

  • Halve the potatoes and carefully hollow them out with a spoon.

Place the insides of the potatoes in a bowl.

  • Mix the potatoes, crème fraîche, diced ham, salt and pepper and put back into the hollowed out potatoes.

Top each potato with raclette cheese.

  • Place the potatoes in a greased casserole dish and cook in a preheated oven at 200°C for 20 minutes until the cheese has melted.

  • For the toppings:

Cover baked potatoes with pickled vegetables or other leftover raclette ingredients as you like.

  • Zack - done!
