The death toll from the Arctic storm that is gripping most of the US this Christmas holiday has risen to at least 32 deaths in nine states, including 13 in Erie County (New York) which includes the city of Buffalo.
Some of the victims were found in cars and others on the street in the snow.
Since Wednesday evening, the United States has been hit by this storm of rare intensity, whose polar winds have caused heavy snowfall especially in the Great Lakes region.
The updated toll of bad weather in the United States has risen to at least 28 dead.
The NBC website reports it, specifying that the deaths occurred in Oklahoma, Kentucky, Missouri, Tennessee, Wisconsin, Kansas, Nebraska, Ohio, New York, Colorado and Michigan.
