Batic and Leitmayr with whiskers and mustaches: The "Tatort" company outing to England in 1922 was a retro thriller with a thin punch line. Or do you have a different opinion?

They were friends again after all: Batic and Leitmayr had to play old Anglo-Saxon versions of themselves at a crime dinner built around a 1922 murder on an English estate.

But as Inspector Francis Lightmyer and Detective Constable Ivor Partridge, the two kept at each other's hair because of a personal crisis: Batic had asked behind the other's back if he could retire.

Leitmayr saw this as a lapse in consumption and so under his inspector moustache, he constantly nudged the other person until he threatened: “If things go on like this, it will be over sooner.”

But in the end, the whole crime dinner plot turned out to be a trick by colleague Kalli to bring the two quarreling buddies back together.

What do you think of the retro thriller?

Is Batic actor Miroslav Nemec possibly just as tired of his job as the policeman he embodies?

"Mord unter Misteln" was the 91st "crime scene" in which the 66-year-old Nemec was seen alongside his four-year-old colleague Udo Wachtveitl.

An end to the joint work is apparently not yet in sight.

The team has just turned off another episode.

It bears the title »Queens« and plays between the queens of asparagus, honey and white sausage.

Veronica Ferres took on a central role as the cunning manager of Bavarian self-marketing.
