The temporary staffing giant has been the victim of what it describes as an “attempted data mining” and continues to inform its employees, former employees and even former candidates.
For a few days and again until Tuesday, December 27, as we were able to see for ourselves, new emails were sent, to the subject entitled “Information – Disclosure of data”.
Some concerned Internet users have observed and shared it on social networks.
“This investigation revealed that some of your personal data present in one of our information systems (surnames, first names, email addresses and social security numbers) has potentially been disclosed.
We deeply regret this and apologize for any difficulties this may cause.

Adecco also specifies that it has “taken the necessary measures to remedy this situation and further secure the data entrusted to us”.
The company also "informed the Cnil (national commission for information technology and freedoms), filed a complaint and sent the file to the judicial police".
Temporary workers victims of fraudulent bank withdrawals in November
However, the facts do not date from the last few days, but from almost two months ago.
At the time, temporary workers working at Adecco had noted deductions of 49.85 euros from their bank account, operated by the company “Solfex France SASU”.
“No link has been established between these fraudulent direct debits made by a third-party company and the missions of our temporary workers,” assured Adecco at the time.
“Last November, the Adecco Group became aware of data mining attempts which potentially led to the disclosure of personal information for some of its candidates and temporary employees, in particular their bank details and/or security numbers. social”, confirms the company on Tuesday.
So this is the same data leak, and a second wave of emails about it.
But unlike the employees affected in early November, the last alerted would not be affected by the leak of their bank details.
A dedicated telephone line, which we joined on Tuesday, has been set up to answer any questions from users.
The company nevertheless advises all those who have received this email to, out of caution, report it to their banking institution as well as to their health insurance fund, about their social security number.
According to figures released by the company on Tuesday, Adecco has 9,000 permanent employees and “depending on the contracts of our client companies, between 100,000 and 150,000 temporary employees per week”.
